OTTAWA, February 12, 2024 – In an effort to enhance public safety and combat gun violence, the National Capital Area Crime Stoppers is proud to announce the launch of a groundbreaking new campaign. Starting Monday, February 12, 2024, the organization is doubling the rewards for tips that lead to arrests or charges in shooting cases.

Under this initiative, tipsters will now receive double their rewards, up to $2,000, for providing information that results in the arrest or charges of individuals responsible for committing shootings in the National Capital region.

Key Features of the Campaign:
